I was considering all of these twisted discussions and I thought of something. Even chosen pregnancy would be a problem because eventually the child (who would choose to be impregnated by a jungle monster? please don't answer that) would eventually develop into a person and then what do you do with it? But what about a pet to raise? Either something normal or one of the less horrifying Improbable mutations. You could be given all kinds of choices in how you handle it and in return, it would...do......something. *shrug*

The pet could be rode or sold to Saucy at the Kitchen. I am thinking about the sick possibilities as I type this.

Good idea. We could finally figure out what the MMM is made of!

Whatever it's made of, it probably wouldn't taste too good.

But... but then it wouldn't be a mystery! We'd have to rename it to the MM!

Damn it, that's not the direction I was going in!

I thought that was why the MMM is the only mount that disappears -- sooner or later, you eat it.

It could also explain where some of the newbies come from...

I'm still sticking with my pet idea. What the hell kind of community doesn't have pets?! And in a pinch, *bam* you've got food and possibly warm clothes (hopefully with more success than the guy in "To Build a Fire").

There already are a few pets throughout the island, created by role players. Those pets are fun.

Besides, I'd probably end up naming whatever grotesque pet I ended up with Mephisto just to mess with KK for a while. Let's see what the big German Shepherd would do about that?

I prefer Mephistopheles. Mephisto just doesn't have the same coolness to it.

Coolness? Since when are you cool, old man?

Since I've been younger than everyone who's called me old man, old lady.

Me, an old lady? Why I do say that you've dealt me a rather painful blow, Gorbert. Don't assume too much based on one's preference of speech.

If that's so, my dear lady Rosin, then how is it that you've managed to make the same mistake with Gorbert?

Hmmmm?

'Tis no mistake, Mr. Bond. I have quite accurate sources that say he is indeed an old man. Or at least, older than I.
