I was just hunting for enemies and ran into a piņata. While wielding a baseball bat. This seemed so fitting, it gave me an idea:

Have weapons give a bonus/penalty against specific enemies (or, equivalently, enemies have strengths/weaknesses against certain weapons). A baseball bat should pound a piņata handily, a chainsaw should cut wooden objects to bits, and the spork should be killer against the Delicious Soup and Spoon enemies.

Wouldn't the rusty chainsaw be something that they know how to deal with? (After all, they use something like that on a regular basis, why would it damage them more than it would if you used against anyone else?)

Probably be a debuff.

DaVinci code enrages the Pope to the point of triple attack, 0 defense?

Screwdriver against robot enemies

Scythe ineffective against death

Pork Sword against sorority girl in nightie-YOUR attack doubles, defense halves
Hello kitty mittens-Sorority girl gets distracted and forgets to attack "AWWwwww!"

And of course, garlic drops Count Dracula's attack to 10%

Well, if we're going that far, Timed Fighting a Haiku should always require delays of 5, 7, 5, 5, 7, 5, etc. Big Grin

Ok, This idea IS amusing. But it's not approved yet.xD We shouldn't post more examples until it does get approved. If it ever does.

You're right of course Omega, and given the amount of other things Dan's trying to do for the Island, it's unlikely to happen any time before 2328.
Having said that...
All zombie opponents immune to zombie donkey effects.
All midget opponents immune to coarse insult attacks.
All bot opponents take double damage from Lightening Gun. (There is such a thing isn't there? I'm sure I've seen it somewhere.)

Lightning Gun does exist.

Zombie Opponent's attack doubles if holding Severed Leg
Zombie and Robot Opponents could also be immune to Soul Sucker.
Fire extinguisher instantly KOs Flaming Contestant.
Sun-Gun Instantly KOs Dracula and Vampire-Bat Prince
Flamethrower weapons scare Frankenstein Abomination.

Thanks , but I was only asking to wait until this actually gets in the queue(or not)

But anyway.

Sun gun doubles against vampires(Yes. I remember more than one)
Lacy lingerie only works against Human enemies.
Socktopus has a chance of stealing your pink cotton socks.

In Season Three I'm going to completely rewrite the combat system, and something similar to this is definitely on the list. However, there'll most likely be all-new monsters too. Razz
