I'm in a really fucking tight spot and I don't know how to get out of it.

We've received a letter regarding our water bill. We've always had an outstanding amount of 542 but we've been slowly chipping away at it and the company seemed happy about it. Now they want it in full in the next 3 months and there is no way in hell we can cover it.
Been to the citizens advice. No help.

They're going to shut us off in the next three months is we can't pay it and we'll end up with solicitors at the door. If you live in the UK and know any other options, please let me know as soon as you can.

It's illegal for a water company to shut off your water supply for non-payment. If they send solicitors, treat them like any other creditor; show them your incomings and outgoings, and tell them to get in the queue.
