I've noticed that somewhere around 40% of the creatures I end up fighting in the jungle are non-organic. The majority of these being machines.

This causes me to wonder. If one can butcher a corpse, shouldn't they be able to scavenge from a destroyed robot?

Of course, if this is the plan, then I'm just repeating ideas.

You're getting ahead of things, there.

In S3, the whole combat system is gonna be rewritten - you won't get Req from monsters any more, but instead you'll get The Things That They Drop. Be it meat, or bits of scrap, or weapons from the humanoid characters.

But I think we can bimble along with the combat system in Season Two for another year or so, easy. Wink

On this I didn't exactly mean the robot dropping scrap, so much as the player taking time and stamina to break the bloody thing apart in an attempt to find something that still works.

Like butchering, but no stamina reward and probably a lot less usable things coming from a machine you just destroyed.

As for the current combat system: Canwekeepit?Canwekeepit?Pleeeeeeeease?

You know, until we get something bigger and shinier and we forget all about this one like children every year at Christmas time.
