Weren't we supposed to be able to save more than two days in S2? Because I'm still only getting a maximum of two.

Was reading this while sipping tea. Not a good idea! Now my desk has tea all over it. Good thing I didn't laugh into the keyboard.

Islanding since 2009.

Ah, the keyboard. You'd have thought someone, somewhere, MIGHT have considered people's likelihood of spilling things in it, and made the keys slightly moe resistant to destruction.

I hadn't realised there was a two saved game day cap still. I really am not a smart human.

Actually if I'm remembering this right the old school keyboards (IBM and such) were designed to go in a dishwasher as part of the manufacturing cleanup process and to sidestep problems since it was very difficult and expensive for the consumer to replace a keyboard in the eighties.

What?! So at one point, keyboards were 1) liquid-resistant, and 2) CLEAN?!

When I was in elementary school, the few computers that were around had these icky rubber coatings on them.

Anyway; I'd like more saved days, but it can wait, it's not a huge deal.

And can I join the Gorbert fan-club, too?

Oh right, sorry about that. I'm rather responsible for writing that monster into our fair jungles.

We really should make a list of all the people in the Gorbert Vansomethingorother fanclub.

I've seen plastic slipcovers for keyboards. Between the cat hair, the perpetual cup of tea* on my desk, and the general dustiness of my house, I really should get one.

*I'm an American**, but as a small child I was allowed to drink hot tea, and I got rather used to it. Also, coffee tends to trigger my inflammatory bowel disease.

**Southerner, actually, so I drink a lot of iced tea, too.

Y'know, before this gets too out of hand (with you lot?--imagine that), I feel I should mention something. Dan thinks everyone is pretty. He doesn't get out much, you see.
