This has been in my mind since I've seen the last part of the Budget Horse saga, and it's even more of an issue now that I've seen the 2nd stage of the zombie donkey, and while it's still a wild ass guess, I can see at least one option for it's further upgrades, and it leads to it falling apart and being lost.
Without getting into to many spoilerish details, and given that I'm working on limited information here, is every mount going to be temporary like Budget Horse? or is it just certain mounts that are going to be like that? or am I on an entirely wrong track here, and the zombdonk isn't going to decompose and fall apart on me?

Well... I don't know anything but if it does upgrade again before disappearing I'm selling it quick! Smile

It makes sense for the fleshy mounts. They either grow old and die or rot away (or taken away by the CPS).

But for the more mechanical mounts, like Bulldozers and Kittybikes, I bet you will have to take them into a 'garage' to tune them up. If you don't, they're going to rust and fall apart.

I make the many models of a mutant individual. To make them I use vegetables, animals, and minerals. From robot bugs to zombie bears to many singing barnacles.

No, I don't have plans for all mounts to be temporary or disposable - some of them will upgrade several times and then disappear, but others will upgrade several times to become more impressive and then stay at their most awesome. One or two will start off good, then become worse than useless for a time, then become absolutely excellent. Others will have to be upgraded via add-ons.

Mounts will be varied! Mr. Green

Level 2 Zombie Donkey Repulsion

So can I say this is a lame name.
How about Dilapidated Zombie Donkey, or heck Decapitated Zombie Donkey (Seeing as its head went all wonky). Level 2 Donkey just seems boring to me, in comparison to the various budget horse names.

It's not the mount's name.
The mount is "partially decomposed zombie donkey". the buff is the level 2 repulsion.
However, I agree that the name leaves something to be desired.
It could easily be changed to something like "Zombie Donkey Grin" or something, based on the combat message it generates.

Since I've had the Zombie donkey, I no longer get in the mornings "You strap your *insert weapon here* to your *insert either back or name of mount here* bit. Is this because there is something missing for the Zombie Donkey? I guess that each mount needs a bit of text to describe how you attach your weaponry to it.
