So for the past six weeks, this massive project has been "Just one more week away from being done, damn it!" and then I think of something else to add and then something takes longer than I expect and then and then and then...
With that in mind, the current ETA is as follows:
One or two days for the last few Contrivances and Contraptions.
One or two days for the new Kitchen furniture items.
Two or three days for the last of the improvements to the core engine.
A week for you guys to test the damn thing thoroughly, and for me to fix the inevitable bugs that show up.
A day or so to put together some sample programs and a guide to using Contraptions and Contrivances.
A week to get ready for the conversion of old Dwellings to new Places.
Then, the Island will go down for an hour or so, and when it comes back, it'll be Moar Awesome.
So, we're looking at three weeks, really, plus Time Allowed for CavemanJoe Being An Idiot Optimist. Let's say... October 1st will be our release date, if not sooner. And then I'd like to have all of the in-game buildings (eBoy's, the Museum and so on) turned into Places by November.
Update: it might be a little sooner. I'm still saying October 1st, but now that deadline feels like it's an awfully long way away for how little there's left to do.
