Don't worry, I'm taking care of that motion for you by way of one scapegoat: My Serbian roommate. Serbia's a little bit warmer than Cleveland, and I've got control of the thermostat and a window.... Plus, I'm most comfortable when the weather's ~55 F.

So, yeah, its actually not thát cold here in holland, but my house is so craky and drafty i probably could just leave the fridge stuff out on the counter, and shut the thing down, wouldn't make a difference.
At least, that's what the cat said, looking at the chicken legs i just stashed in there.
You keep your fridge stuff out and its all right? Here, we need to keep stuff in the fridge to keep it warm. The met office say it could get down to -12 here, and that's in the town. Glad I don't have to go over Grinton moor or up Coverdale...

I've done that before and I've also used the outdoors as a makshift freezer since it was actually colder than the freezer inside.

When it's roughly -40(Celsuis or Farenheit since there both the same at that point) out then it's too cold to go out more than absolutely nessecary. But, then again this is coming from a person who only needs to wear a sweater and a toque for -10C weather.

We're getting snow down in Brighton now. lots of places are shut up. I've been using my time constructively listening to Led Zeppelin at high volume, jumping round like a lunatic and playing the air guitar.

New York City is New York City. It's autumn here. Going onto winter. Getting colder. Not snowing yet. Rained heavy yesterday. Meh.
New York.

Your point stands. I found frozen veggies in there this morning. Needless to say, i turned it down as low at it would go.
Current indoor temperature in kitchen; minus 3 degrees, and falling.

Snow. It is everywhere.
There's about three and a half feet on the ground and it doesn't look like it is stopping anytime soon.
Got lost in a snowbank on the way to class yesterday.

I'm honestly jealous. I love snow, and we never get any of it in Seattle.
Only rain.

You can have it. All of it.
I swear there used to be stairs connected to the front of the house. I'm not sure where they went.

I know! It's cold here too. I went outside today in flip flops, a skirt and a t-shirt and was like "whoa, whoa, whoa" so I went inside and got a hat.

Is it a bad time to say that I call anything below 55F "freezing"?
I've lived in California my whole life. The coldest it gets is in December-January, in the middle of the night, outside on a soccer field. This is... maybe 40 degrees. Apparently people in other states think this is balmy. D:
It's been around 60 all week. It's really nice, actually, none of our ridiculous bipolar weather lately. (Of course, Californians break out the gloves and scarves at 60. But I like it.)

I'm just really confused by all this 60 degree weather around the heart of Colorado. It shouldn't be this warm, which means it will probably be 6 degrees and snowing hard tomorrow... or this afternoon. At least the mountains are getting plenty of snow!

The plumbings frozen...I now wish there was more snow (yes, that's right more) because then we could melt it for water. Most of it went last weekend (11/12th) then a little more came then temperatures plummeted down. Haven't seen the temperature go up above 0 for several days now.

Six days ago, it was 80 degrees. I went out in shorts. Now, it's not raining so much cats and dogs as it is lions. And according to the forecast it's going to keep raining for another four days. If I were a weatherman in California, I'd have lost my mind a long time ago.
