Quote by: talkydoorFor me, it's because the site's seeming more buggy by the day. It switches subjects halfway through a session, logs me out, or resets me at level 1 with no donations... I know my info isn't getting lost, because after a few minutes it'll jump back up. It's as though the site is keeping two totals on me and jumping between them, so I have no idea any more how much I'm donating.
Anyone else, or am I just unlucky?
I noticed that, too, whenever I got an answer wrong. It would flip-flop around the total to some random number that didn't make sense, but then it returned to normal after a couple correctly-answered questions. It's not something that really bothers me, but it is a bit weird.
As for my excuse: I've been out of town.
Something something unintelligible gibberish something.

Yep. Something similar. Also once it wouldn't let me into the Island group, so I played anyway but that wouldn't show up in your totals.
It seems to have got better now. Not perfect, but better.

Well there's your problem, right there.
Seriously but, that's kind of odd, as I haven't had any problems with it. I wonder if it's related to the mechanism that is supposed to step you back a level after X number of wrong answers. No matter, nothing I can do about it really.
Thanks for the feedback.

Righty-oh, the penultimate result. On the uptick again, we find:
This week: 367,890
Last week: 327,960
Gives: ....... 39,930
I'll call that $40 even. Paypal transaction #9YM29590WT119623S of 5 minutes ago.
Last week, boys and girls. Go to.

So there we have it, folks. The project has run its course.
In this final week we achieved:
This week: 402,230
Last week: 367,890
Result: ..... 34,340
Which I'll round up to $35. Paypal transaction # 0BR60343BK201132J of 10 minutes ago.
In summary, since I kicked this off the team went from 97760 to 402230, which is 304 470, and equates to providing approximately 32 meals for famine relief.
My thanks to the many participants, and of course to CMJ for his generous matching offer.

Excellent!
3k down, time to fill up the difference!
Who's up for a bit of sport? I'm up to a measly level 48, with consistency at 46.
Beat that, you perspicacious linguaphiles!

Haven't seen many people on Free Rice recently, so you probably won't have noticed that there's two new categories. Human Anatomy and World Landmarks.
I haven't seen CMJ's Birthplace in the latter yet, but I haven't played that much, so it's probably only a matter of time.

Hmm ... or maybe the 'World Landmarks' only refers to this world?
Equally unlikely to find it under 'Human Anatomy', I guess.
