Since I'm the affected party, and the titular cause of the thread derailment, let me say that I've not commented thus far, beyond thanking the mods/admin for answering my question.
Thus far I've been called a cheater, a prat, and likely drawn some other unvoiced criticisms.
I'm absorbing these, and not responding.
So, to those who spoke up for me, thank you.
To those who admonished me, thank you.
I am now going to get back to the very reason I asked this question: Building stuff and exploring the game. That's what I care about. That's why I'm here.
May I request that we let this thread die now? Please? It's not doing anyone any good.
