And moderation!
I honestly don't know what I would do without my moderators - they handle all the trolls, the drama, the unpleasantness, so that it doesn't spoil anybody else's fun - and also, so that it doesn't take up all the time I should be using to make cool stuff. They see the worst of people and deal with it, and somehow they never let it bring them down. They're a bunch of fucking superheroes, the lot of them.
Sessine, Zolo, Epaphus, Eben, stand up and take your bows - you're the reason I've had the time to do the things that Maniak just talked about. Thank you.

Seconded, I can't imagine the amount of work that Sessine has put into this.
It's not an optical illusion. It just looks like one.

Thank-you to Buddleia for the intensive work she does documenting all the dwellings on the Island, and for this extremely comprehensive post summing up practically everything we have ever said about how to improve dwellings!
Also, thank-you to Devin and Beeps for this very handy text preview function, and a huge thank-you to Devin for the excellent parser of the old 'improbabledwellings' format, without which it would have been near-impossible for the owners, or me, or anyone, to recover any of the borked dwellings.

Sorry for being a bit off-topic here, but Buddleia recently brought to my attention that apparently I've screwed up the preview code on that page. Which is to say, that automatically closes left/right/center justification when you start a new justification, which is not how the Island handles the tags. Since I'm not entirely sure how to rework the code to be "right," all I can say is use caution when testing it there, and try it out on http://www.bitwise-guy.com/improbable/beepsmod/ before spending the deco time on it on the real Island.

Thanks to Beeps for being such a maniacal code-delver.
Thanks to Zolotisty for our moichandise.
Thanks to CMJ and Sessine for the back-breaking fixes and the wonderful in-game creations.
Thanks to Zolotisy, Ebenzer, Epaphus, Sessine, CMJ, AND Emily for your patience. We're high maintenance, I know.
Thanks to whoever has given me my little awards. You're pretty cool too.

Thank you Caveman Joe, for creating this amazing game. We are all indebted to you. Thank you to everyone over at Improbable Labs, for your additions to the game and helpful comments. Thank you to everyone who created a monster, a great part of the island's humour. Thank you Emily, for what you contributed, which I am sure is going to increase. Thank you everyone who I have ever roleplayed with, for making the island what it is. Thank you all. I have now finally got a hyperring, so I won't ever leave.

Thank you, Ashtu, for making this thread, and also for thanking people!
Thank you, CMJ, for managing to put together the awesome new combat system with a broken laptop.
Thank you, Marly, for being a stellar clan leader, and for actually writing the pink bloomers in.
Thank you, Maniak, for your Rewards Program-without-an-me, and for hauling a good number of people through their high-rank DKs by their collars.
Thank you, everyone who has been trying to drag me into the Story half of things, for being kind and (VERY) patient.
Thank you, everyone who's answered my desperate calls for Sheila's equipment information, for helping me with my obsess--um, project.
And thank you, all you good Islandfolk, for making me smile.
