Okay, so I have been checking back to the Enquirer every so often and reading up on CMJ's Weather System (Which I think is fabulous)
But I do just have one small question between the, er, mechanics of that and the roleplaying. With the way the days work on the island, we get 4 hours of real time for an entire game day. However, usually the roleplaying community tends to ignore the game time because with real life distractions, delays in writing and what not, a conversation in game that may have taken an hour between players, has in fact taken six hours game time to happen.
Sooo, what my question is (this is mostly directed toward the sunrise and sunset part of the system), is this new weather system going to geared around game time?
Although to answer my own question, I suppose it would because it would be unfair to other players to attribute our weather system to a specific time zone.

And you'd be exactly right. The sun in the game is tied to the time in the game.

Why don't we just cut the chatter and have the game lore say that for some reason, the day-night cycle on Improbable Island, while still located on Earth, is only 4 hours long?

That would work for me. It'll be interesting at least to see everyone's interpretation.

It would be almost like living in the Canadian North!

Personally, I cannot wait for the weather system to be in affect. *deposits her two cents*
