By the way, this forum moves WAY slower when I'm not around to stir up unnecessary debate.

Plus we miss you when you're gone.

It's so lonely on the internet, when you guys go away. Cry
So stir away, Mr. Fred. Then I can experience some more fleeting human contact on the fantastic forums of this fantastic game.

There ar a decent number of beacon's out there.. if you just find one with a nice public one you can build around it rather easily. The titan's watches for instance I've noticed they have beacons to help titan hunters get to titans but as they are rather open they are quite useful to use to fuel and use for building near... if your of a mind.

You've hit it pretty much dead center. This was the plan when the beacon at Crescent Beach was built. It's in a perfect place to grow into a thriving community. We're going to need these kinds of places when it's time to expand the map and add more outposts.

This Bundle will give me the incentive to get back in it and update, upgrade and busily build bigger and better buildings. If enough of us feel this way, CMJ will never find out that we would have given him the $25 just for the Medal.

If it cant be done, should I stop doing it?

And how about 5,000 cobbblestones = 1 cigarette, if a small fee is paid to activate this option?

The thing that's hard about balancing cobblestones is that you'll have more or less depending on how fast your computer is, which gives people with blazing-fast machines a pretty big advantage over others with slower ones.

It's why the amount of supporter points given out is the same for everyone, and not based on the amount of cobblestones accumulated in that period.

Cobblestones, if used for anything, would need to be for a community advantage.

*nods* Well explained, thanks. I understand that people with great tech are naturally gonna have more rocks - so maybe having more than one use for these things would be good? How about... If you want to convert your cobblestones into cigarettes, you have to pay a small real world fee and accept whatever exchange rate the game will give you. BUT if you want to DONATE your cobblestones to some worthy cause - I.E creating a temporary path on the map, giving the stones to others to be used in constructions or wall reinforcements - THAT would of course be free. So then people with absolute stacks of cobblestones could share them around for better or worse without having to fork over any real cash and people (like me...) who never seem to have quite enough cigarettes for luggage upgrades or lingual defense lessons would be able - at a price - to get some. And there could be NPC uses for the rocks as well - so that if you wished to donate the rocks, then you wouldn't necessarily have to donate to another player or clan. Maybe there could be Crazy Audreys Brand New Orphange for Pebbles or maybe a donation would just cause the Curious Looking Rock in Kittania to actually grow or maybe with enough donations would allow an actual Rock Concert( The Angry Midgets would make a great name for a band, you know....). Maybe we could donate the rocks to the jungle and have them turn around and attack us. Whatever works. It's all about having options.

Oh and back to the merchandising idea.... What about a Sneaky Lion tee shirt as well? That seems to be a reoccuring theme.

It wouldn't just be a lion, though. It'd be... a jungle on the front. With a lion on the back, accompanied by it's "You encounter a Lion, which lunges at you with [whatever]!" text. Or something. The front image could be a flower pot.

Yah! I'd vote for/buy/wear that!

Could also be a Sneaky Lion identification shirt with many pictures of objects that do not in any way whatsoever resemble a lion....

Back to the Rock Concert idea for a moment though... So if we donate cobblestones to an outpost then perhaps a temporary concert stage would be build in the commongrounds? And when enough people have donated enough cobblestones, the performance begins and anyone in the area of that outpost can attend and maybe have a chance to either gain or lose charm/stamina/their hearing. For Squat Hole, we could have a band called The Angry Midgets to perform although whether or not they acheive anything that could actually be classed as music is an open debate. For Improbable Central, the bard Seth would likely take center stage. For New Pittsburgh, the band could be The Mildly Grateful Not-Exactly Dead. For Kittania... So many possibilities... It's fun to speculate, hrm?

Eh. I feel like that's been done.

What about Picture Frames in Places...that work similar to Clatter in The Prancing Spiderkitty? So if you type in "Look at Spiderkitty Painting", you actually get to see it? With all the programing touches you've made in the last few months, purchasing several picture frames and a lot of creative programming, one could make games similar to that, which would add even more entertainment value to the places!

Alternatively, someone needs to make a program that turns pictures into ASCII art, but with island color codes.

Ok, so CMJ, you said that you needed to sell 240 Creator Bundles to pay off the Taxman. I still see 122 in the Lodge. That means that you only sold 178. That's damn near 70 shy. I'm curious if still made enough money to take care of your tax problems. And if not, what's the next step and what can we, as players, do to help?
