Hey Improbable People, I wanted to let you guys know about a program that I wrote to find the best pile to pick when playing the Stones game at Raven's Inn. Averagely, these were the results:
Like Pile:
Wins: 21.7%
Losses: 22.3%
Ties: 56%
Unlike Pile:
Wins: 22.4%:
Losses: 21.6%
Ties: 56%
I made the computer simulate around a hundred million games and I compiled the results. Just wanted to share this for anyone who wanted to see if they could make some money off of the the Stones game.
