I first joined Improbable Island years ago, managed a single Drive Kill, and donated enough to get one of those rings that makes your account never expire, the ones that aren't sold anymore. And then I stopped coming back because of probably school-related reasons.

When I rejoined a few days ago, I couldn't remember what my character's name was, only that it wasn't my standard user name because my standard one doesn't sound very character-y. I ended up making a new character, but I would really rather like to have my old one again. And the recovery thingy in place now is for passwords only, and you need your character name for it.

So I would like to request the ability to recover your character name by putting in your email address, please!

Even characters that expired for lack of a hyperring can be recovered manually if you contact the mods. File a private petition ( Link 'Tell us about a problem' on top of the game page) with your e-mail and you should get your account back.
Might have to wait a while though, it's weekend, and besides the database mods are kinda busy.
